This entry is a compilation of journal entries, audio and video logs. They were found in a briefcase amongst the shredded reamins of a scientist of the SCP Foundation. Any grammatical errors and scribbled writing has been corrected. This takes place over a course of aproximatly six months. The order is determined by the date and times prerecorded. All names mentioned are redacted.

--------------------

Journal entry 1

Name: SCP-77Y
Class: Euclid
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male

Description: Was once human, but through unexplainable ways, became a monster. Still wearing the greasy and bloodstained clothes of before.

Skin is pitch black and leathery. Hair only grows on top of head. Hair color is black and is difficult to distinguish from his skin. Eyes, mouth, and any open wound glow bright orange. Skin and muscle around face appears to be in a constant state of melting.

Fingers and toes are enlongated and permanently bloodstained. No longer holds fingernails but rather the bone itself sharpened and stretched the skin to a point. His fingers and toes are boney and hardly have any muscle on it, making it very hard for him to bend his fingers and toes.

Shirt is faded and shredded, was once either black or dark grey with a red pixelated M on it; jeans' color has faded too much and ripped to tell color and brand.

---------------------

Audio File 1

Female voice: "SCP-77Y is still in confusion of where he is, and is still obviously very scared, acting like an animal at bay. We cannot clean out his cell--"

*loud, gutteral, gurgling roar followed by harsh scratching*

"--or even come close to his cell without him screeching and scratching at the door. The only way we can feed in is through a small hole in the top of his cell. We have a theory that music, or, more correctly, soundwaves, may calm him enough to allow us to enter and clean out the cell."

-----------------------

Audio File 2

"Soundwave therapy is so far working. Whenever we turn it on he appears to fall asleep. He actually appears to be remorseful when we turn it on: making noises that sound like wailing in his so-called sleep state. Still, we try to be as slient as possible, trying not to anger him,"

---------------------

Video file 1

*loud chaos and panic. Room appears to be a hospital of some sort. Female voice is heard behind the camera*

"One of us finally made a mistake cleaning SCP-77Y's cell. He tipped the cleaning bucket over, making a loud clang and spilling the contents in the bucket."

*approaches a portly and filthy man having his left arm being treated*

"He startled the SCP and he lept on him, biting into his arm. We found this strange, as SCP-77Y has no discernable teeth--"

*video jump-cuts*

"The man says he felt no real teeth, but a solid, slightly bumpy line of bone. What caused the horrible wound, he says, was the melting ooze around his mouth. He says it was like red hot acid and did much if the cutting. The solid line of bone, he says, held his arm while the SCP tried to rip his arm off. Further examination shows that the wound is indeed an acid-like burn. We will wear padding while maintaining his cell."

-----------------------

Audio Log 3

"An employee says he had heard SCP-77Y say something while cleaning his cell. Upon hearing this, we are about to attempt to communicate with him. We will attempt to communicate via the intercom. A camera is already installed and we will record the audio from the microphone installed in the camera."

------------------------

Video file 2

*shows a screen with the grainy image of a bloodstained room with a black, clothed image on a worn mattress. Relaxing music plays. Shuffling sounds are heard*

"Hello," *voice is heard echoing. Pause* "Hello, SCP-77Y. Can you understand me--?"

*She is interupted by a loud, warbling wail coming from inside the room. Figure moves spastically and runs long fingers down wall, creating a harsh squealing sound. Wailing continues*

"Hello, SCP-77Y. Can you understand me?"

*The figure stops and looks around, revealing the glowing eyes and mouth*

"SCP-77Y," *The figure looks around spaztically* "Answer,"

*SCP pauses, looking directly at the camera. Silence, then gets up and walks closer to the camera. He hobbles very dinosaur-like*

"SCP-77Y, can you tell us your name?"

*He looks directly at camera for a while and opens mouth and growls out speech*

"Say again?"

*As clear as he can get* "[REDACTED],"

"[REDACTED]?" *SCP nods* "How old are you?"

*He widens his eyes in surprise, then looks down. He brings out his long claws and moves them down one at a time. He does this for a while before stopping.*

*Woman inhales to speak, but the music scratches, causing discordant, intermittant noises. SCP is noticably bothered by it, and plugs sides of head with hands and wails loudly.*

"SCP--[REDACTED]! Calm down!"

*SCP's eyes widen. He roars and begins to run claws down walls, creating a nails-on-chalkboard sound*

Male voice offscreen: "Turn it off! Turn it off!"

--------------------------------

Journal Entry 2

SCP-77Y seems to retain some memories of his past life, but strains the last shred of himself he has left. I have concluded that the music sooths the savage beast in him and lets his true self out, but it is very unhappy about the state he's in now and/or those he had killed/eaten before we got a hold of him. The music brings out the window of opportunity for us to communicate.

Mention of his name seems to bring out the worst in him, and therefore should never be mentioned again.

The music disk is scratched and therefore ruined. We will need a replacement quickly; after I tried communicate with him, he has been in a state of hysteria, therefore creating bigger messes.

-------------------------

Journal Entry 3

We got the replacement, and are finally able to clean his cell after weeks without being able to do so. There is a problem, however, as there have been close calls with others. The window of time the music can work seems to be shortening. We will need to clean more frequently and quicker.

-----------------------

Audio Log 4

*Seems to be the same circumstances as Video File 2. Soothing music plays, video grain crackles, and microphone feedback screeches*

"[REDACTED], I know you can understand me, but I need to ask a question." *she pauses. Over the crackle shuffling steps are heard* "Do remember how you got this way?"

*Long pause, before the SCP tries to speak. Tries two times before getting message across*

"Curse,"

"A curse. I see..." *sound of pencil scratching* "Who did it?"

"G-game,"

"What?"

"Hor-ror-ror game," *sound of pencil scratching* "Bad end-ing"

"A very bad ending indeed,"

----------------------------------

Journal Entry 4

The SCPs have been acting strangly quiet recently. It's highly unsettling for everyone. SCP-77Y seems to be the only one who hasn't changed too much, but has been sleeping more often. I highly distrust this "sleep". The crew has been warned to stay on their toes.

------------------------------

Audio Log 5

*dead silence*

*quivering whisper* "It happened; it finally happened. After two months of being told to keep on our toes, they finally broke free. They have gone a massive killing spree--"

*sound of dragging footsteps nearby. Ragged breaths. Footsteps slowly recede*

*quieter whisper* "killing spree. The staff and prisoners have been mostly killed off. I managed to get away fast enough to hide in a closet. I can't stay here forever."

-------------------------------

Video file 3

*White noise streams across image, indicating damage. Shows woman's face, bloodied and terrified. The camera shakes, suggesting she's running,*

*voice is hoarse and quaking* "He's found me! He's after me! SCP-77Y!!"

*loud, slapping footsteps are heard. A horrible, gutteral, gargling roar is heard behind her. Camera occasionally moves enough to show a black figure with glowing facial features giving chase behind her*

*Camera shakes too much to make out visually. Audio suggests running into a room, closing and locking the door. Woman pants heavily. Banging is heard on the door*

"I don't have long, but if anyone finds this place, anyone at all, I leave my notes in this briefcase. It contains meager information but at least some of it will be safe. Please, find and save any scrap of paper you happen to find. God save you ah--"

*Door busts open; loud roar approaches fast*

*Woman screams, shoves camera into case still rolling. The clasps click shut.*

"NO--AAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!!" *loud sounds of ripping a breaking* "AAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH, AAAAAAHH, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUGH--" *one final snap, then silence.*

---------------------------

The tape goes on for another 12 hours before running out of memory space
Art goes out to the amazing :iconhaleyscomett: I was inspired by her pic of MarkiMonster that I had to write this.

Ok, by means that his game had cursed him, he's a monster that SCP had captured and is now keeping tags on. This shows the main caretaker's various studies up until her last desperate moments.

Perfect background music to fit stry. I recommend listening to this while reading: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KLpQ_E…

Now that I think about it, I wonder if he ever was in the Containment Breach game, how would it pan out for him...

Ok, just before you encounter him, you will see a small observation room. In that room, you'll find a small list stating the different buttons and what they do. You'll need to press the button that activates the music player and the button that activates the intercom. You'll hear music play for about a minute, long enough for you to pass the passive SCP-77Y (quietly, of course. Make too much noise and he'll attempt to kill you). Fail to do this and/or are not fast enough, he'll give chase. You can lose him in the maintenance tunnels.

So, what do you think?
